Argiro Kazos Scholarship for the Study of Human Nature

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial and academic support for an exceptional undergraduate student alumnus/a of at least one academic semester at the Arcadia Center, Athens who seeks to do a concentrated study on some aspect of human nature through the medium of Greek culture.
Under the direction of a designated Arcadia academic advisor the student will conduct independent research in the summer term (late May until late July) and produce a significant piece of research on the topic for which the scholarship has been granted. To facilitate this research, the student will have access to the research facilities at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens and the British School at Athens. Assuming the research meets certain criteria the final piece of work will be made public and highlighted on the Arcadia Center website.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must have spent at least one academic semester at the Arcadia Center, Athens.
- Candidates must be undergraduate students, or have received their undergraduate degree in the same year as they apply for the scholarship.
- The Argiro Kazos Scholarship for the Study of Human Nature awards no academic credit.
