Ancient Studies
This two-semester course is meant for students who already have good knowledge of Latin. Its aim is to enable students with this knowledge to read extensive texts of Latin prose and poetry competently, present complicated points of syntax and grammar, and add to the vocabulary already acquired. The course is primarily based on the reading of Latin texts, and students are not encouraged to use translations. Both levels of this course are available in the fall and spring semesters.
